IWA 5 “Reserves”

To this point, Shiraiwa K. K. has released five assemblages of IWA 5, each presenting its own unique characteristics. “Reserves” dives into this sake catalog by blending 12 different aged sake together — some dating back to 2017. Take an unprecedented journey through time with aromas of pear, plum and flower, followed by a creamy mouthfeel, cocoa-like sweetness and complex umami. A peppery finish concludes this elegant, soulful tasting experience.
