Shizuoka prefecture
Bright and refreshing, this sake is the perfect choice for daytime drinking and is the brewery employees’ drink of choice. The juniper botanicals and cucumber notes make it the perfect gin lover’s sake. It is named after the brewery founder who fought many battles near the ruins of Takatenjin Castle. It is technically milled to ginjo level but reined in by flavors and aromas to allow more easy drinking.
Takatenjin is made in Shizuoka prefecture in the Chubu region.

Takatenjin is an old catsle located near Mt. Fuji. They get so much sunshine year-round that they are able to operate as a mostly solar powered brewery. This area of Shizuoka has the most wasabi farms in Japan, it also is famous for tea. Both testaments to the pure and pristine water that is the source for Takatenjin.
