An aromatic treat

Handcrafted from Japanese cedar grown in Nikko, Tochigi, a World Heritage site, “Omoeraku” Nikko Cedar Tokkuri is a carafe with a lid. The cedar transfers its woody aroma to the sake, culminating in a unique new flavor. The clean, harmonious angles are made surprisingly supple by the cedar’s natural softness. Each piece is handcrafted in Kanuma, and the design received the grand prize at the 2011 Tochigi Excellent Design award.
