Due to the surge of online shopping this winter 2021, delivery services will be challenged to keep up with a large number of shipments during the holiday season. We highly recommend you to order in advance. Please see the recommended timeline below. We appreciate your understanding.To ensure your sake gifts reach their destination before Saturday, December 25, 2021, you must order by the following dates:
Tippsy ships to most states in the USA. Due to complex alcohol regulations and our capacity as a startup, we are currently unable to ship to Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Utah and South Dakota. There are some areas of Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas that our third-party carriers may not service. We are working to expand and cover more areas going forward.
Most orders are processed and shipped in 2-3 business days, depending on product availability. If an order cannot be shipped out within 1 week of when the receipt was created, our Tippsy Support Team will be sure to contact you. Upon fulfillment, shipping to the West Coast (including Hawaii) takes approximately 2–3 business days, and the East Coast takes 5-6 business days. Texas, Oklahoma, New Jersey and Illinois will take an additional week as we have to move inventory before shipping to those states. You will receive a notification and tracking number once your order has been shipped.Please note that orders shipping to non-major centers or remote locations may take an additional 5-6 business days.
Your first Sake Box will be shipped immediately after your order is processed, and your seasonal subscription will start with sake from the next scheduled box which is shipped in March, June, September and December.If you received your first Sake Box in the month immediately prior to a shipping month, you will receive your next box in the following season to avoid receiving boxes in two consecutive months.
Those who sign up for Unlimited Shipping will receive complimentary shipping on every order for one year after an initial one-time payment of $99. This charge will autorenew annually. Sake Club members can also enjoy complimentary shipping on all orders. Customers not enrolled in either of these plans will pay a weight-based shipping fee. Please note that there is a different shipping rate for Hawaii residents, and that Hawaii is unfortunately not covered by Unlimited Shipping.
Due to alcohol content, an individual at least 21 years old must be available to sign for each package and must be present — it is alcohol, after all! This is a legal requirement. Carriers won’t be able to complete the delivery without it.
Since it’s a legal requirement that an individual at least 21 years old must be present to sign for the package (due to alcohol content), we recommend using business addresses or UPS Office locations for your convenience. Of course, your home address is fine, too — just be sure someone over the age of 21 is there to receive the package.
In cases like these, we always recommend reaching out to the carrier so that the issue can be addressed as soon as possible. For major shipping carriers, we recommend taking advantage of the delivery options available on the tracking page for your shipment. With the help of our shipping partner’s extensive network, we maintain the quality of sake as it makes its way throughout the United States.
