Kumamoto prefecture
This rich junmai with layered, nutty depth in flavor has won many hot sake competitions in Japan, but can be enjoyed over ice as well. We dare you to try it with rich sauces and slow-cooked meat as this region of Japan is known for thicker, sweeter soy sauce and rich meat. The bold structure and solid dry finish of this sake will add depth to your umami-laden dish.

Incredible earthy flavors with a smooth finish
Nicely balanced and flavorful junmai sake, particularly delicious when served warm.
It was smooth and delicious. An excellent sake that I will be buying again.
1st purchase from tippsy after 3mos in japan trying many sakes from many different prefectures. This one did not disappoint! Flavor profile was accurate. Semi-dry and smooth, pairs well with everything imo, but I'm a new sake enthusiast. Really enjoying browsing this site, reading reviews and nerding out on the SMV chart, kanpai!
I wish this wasn't sold out. I was an immediate fan.
Amazing!!
Really good!
This was an interesting sake. It was smooth and had a depth of flavor. I did not enjoy it chilled. The flavored were muted and all the wrong flavors are highlighted. It shines when warmed. A nutty/earthy flavor profile comes through. It's a great sale but , for me, Id put it in my "interesting for some occasions category". It would not be in my usual rotation
Earthy and nutty. I was surprised at how cheap this was for how good it is.
Very smooth, interesting cashew/nutty note. I feel this would make a very versatile sake, I enjoyed it chilled with karaage chicken and pork/chive gyoza and it was very complimentary. :)
