Very rich with notes of melon. Paired well with pork fried rice
This Junmai was astounding, it's smoothness and flavor when warm is comforting and the flavor is astounding up front. When chilled it is comforting with a flavor that seems to hit and calmly relax. This was unpaired and drank while relaxing in a chair.
One of my favorites. Tried it at a nice kaiseki in nakameguro, and was blown away then and now. This was the sake that made me a member of this site!
WOW! Amazing Junmai — smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel; honeydew melon accented steamed rice; rich umami…. and superb with grilled meats (such as a grilled kalbi)! This is an instant favorite!
Great Sake. You can really taste the notes of honeydew in this sake. Great for summer. We paired it with Smoked trout over rice. Excellent.
