Embark on a special brewery tour of Fushimi district in Kyoto, one of the most famous and historical locations to experience sake. The tour will start in the afternoon at JR Kyoto Station. You will enjoy a private brewery tour with tastings from a limited collection at Masuda Tokubee Shoten, a sake brewery with over 300 years of history, famous for inventing nigori sake and for their “koshu” (aged sake) in ceramic vessels. Later, you’ll have the unique opportunity to dine with the president and a member of the brewery in Gion, Kyoto. The tour ends at JR Kyoto Station.
A special one-day brewery tour will take you to Nada district in Kobe, located in Hyogo prefecture, Kinki region. The tour begins in the morning at JR Shin-Kobe Station and includes visits to sake breweries in Nada district, recognized for its high quality sake and highest sake production volume in Japan. After enjoying lunch at Sakabayashi, a traditional Japanese restaurant in Kobe Shushinkan, we’ll tour Kikumasamune Brewing Company, famous for its “taru sake” (sake stored in wooden vats). Finally, we will head to Nadagogo Sakedokoro for sake tastings paired expertly with local foods. The tour concludes at JR Shin-Kobe Station
