Yamagata prefecture
This sake is a wonderful embodiment of Yamagata Prefecture’s ginjo style. Lively, vibrant and unabashedly unpasteurized, Eiko Fuji Namazake is a classic that has been delighting sake drinkers for thirteen generations. That means this sake’s fresh fruit flavor has been around almost as long as the United States has been a country! Hopefully that makes you feel a bit younger, and if it doesn’t a glass or two of Eiko Fuji Namazake just might.
Eiko Fuji is made in Yamagata prefecture in the Tohoku region.

Located in the Yamagata region of northern Japan, the Fuji Brewing Company was founded in 1778 and is now led by the 13th generation of the Kato family. The Kato’s named their brewery after Mt. Fuji because they wanted their sake to be as glorious as this national symbol.
