Fukushima prefecture
Made using fresh ingredients right from Fukushima, where it’s brewed. Like the label’s soft pink circular pattern, Ninki-ichi “Sparkling” graces you with soft, sweet aromas of ume plum and white chocolate. Each sip delivers a frothy light body accompanied by flavors of pear and spiced apple. The delicacy of this sake makes it a stellar aperitif or palate cleanser between courses. Best served in a champagne glass.

Light and crunchy snacks pair well with the texture of sparkling sake. For sake ware, we recommend glasses that highlight the bubbles.

On other sites I gave this a 4.9 out of 5. Because of the way this site is set up it gets a 5 star. It was very good I tried it chilled and slightly warm. It was good both ways but chilled is better. I had it with crackers.
Overall it was a pleasant drinking experience, with a light delicate flavour. The carbonation threw me a bit I think, but I didn't mind it after adjusting. My main issue was the aftertaste--it was more bitter than I expected and generally unpleasant. I would drink it again, but it definitely would not be one I would pick out myself.
Great flavor profile one of the favorites!
