Nagano prefecture
The light-to-medium body delivers a splash of fruit flavors. Because it’s unfiltered it has an opaque, creamy color and thicker texture, which help it pair easily with spicy, savory, and intensely flavored meals such as spicy Korean sundubu soup or sizzling BBQ. The sweetness is all natural from the famed Yamada Nishiki rice, and it’s been skillfully crafted in a way that sets it apart from its peers.
Kurosawa is made in Nagano prefecture in the Chubu region.

Kurosawa Brewing Company
Kurosawa Brewing Company was established in 1858 in Yachiyo, a village with population a little over 10,000 even today. It is located right beneath three tall mountains at a high altitude. The temperature in winter goes under 10°F. Yachiho surrounds itself with beautiful mountains such as the Mt. Asama and Mt. Yatsugatake, also the Chikuma River which is one of the longest in Japan. Since its inception, Kurosawa has been brewing authentic sake under the most ideal conditions; beautiful and natural surroundings with clean air, high quality water and cool temperatures.
