Watanabe Brewing Company can be found at the northernmost tip of Gifu prefecture in the Furukawa Basin, surrounded by mountains and charming, old merchant houses. Their signature sake brand, Horai, is a Japanese word that describes eternal paradise. Their mission is to brew sake with heart, humanity and integrity to bring out the life of the rice. They have a policy to keep laughing, smiling and appreciating — they even host an annual comedy festival so people can come to be entertained, drink and have a great time! Their sake has won 56 awards across Japan, Europe, Asia and the U.S.
