Nagano prefecture
Specially brewed in 2007 to honor the 10th Anniversary of Kurosawa Sake's introduction to the U.S, this sake continues on the brewery’s custom of crafting unique sake. A curious buttery undertone rounds out delicate, almost rice-pudding flavor. The effect is accented with a fruitier finish. Even 8 years after it's introduction, the Premium Reserve continues to be a crowd pleaser, and won a gold medal at the 2015 BTI World Wine Championship.
Kurosawa is made in Nagano prefecture in the Chubu region.

Kurosawa Brewing Company
Kurosawa Brewing Company was established in 1858 in Yachiyo, a village with population a little over 10,000 even today. It is located right beneath three tall mountains at a high altitude. The temperature in winter goes under 10°F. Yachiho surrounds itself with beautiful mountains such as the Mt. Asama and Mt. Yatsugatake, also the Chikuma River which is one of the longest in Japan. Since its inception, Kurosawa has been brewing authentic sake under the most ideal conditions; beautiful and natural surroundings with clean air, high quality water and cool temperatures.
