Fukushima prefecture
The name “Tororingo” or “Creamy Apple” says it all. Drinking this sake is like taking a juicy bite out of an alcoholic apple! To achieve this stunning flavor, the brewers at Okunomatsu blend their junmai sake with fresh squeezed apple juice from Japan’s leading apple producer. This sake has stellar blending of sweet and sour, much like a Fuji apple, and is enhanced by serving chilled or over ice. If you want to draw someone into the sake world, this is a good sake to get them acquainted with.
Okunomatsu is made in Fukushima prefecture in the Tohoku region.
