This is one is the best.
Best of the best. I first tried Manju about 20 years ago and don't think I have found anything I like better since.
Kubota Manju has long been among my favorites. To me, this is the epitome of what a premium Junmai Daiginjo sake should be.
Delicious!
Greetings from Guatemala, this is the best liquor I’ve ever tasted, it was amazing, worth every penny spent on it. I felt a floral taste, my father tasted a lemon flower hint, my grandfather a nance hint. Absolutely impressive. It demonstrates the excellence from Japanese culture.
I really liked Manju a lot. It is a good balance of dryness with fragrance and subtle sweetness. The price for this is a bit absurd however. In Japan you can buy this for about JPY 2000 which is like USD 20 of purchasing power. I get there are import costs + having to deal with the state-to-state nonsense regarding alcohol sales and distribution. But this one might be a bit high for some folks to stomach. If money is no object then I say go for it.
I actually ordered the junmai, but much to my delight this precious baby showed up instead. Tippsy, your loss was my gain. My, what a sophisticated and quality sake of the highest degree. Bright and engaging with some floral elements and even a bit of spice along the taste train. One of the best sakes I have ever tasted.
Over 9000 out of 10. So light and unique I had to get more. Normally go for Demon slayer but this light refreshing sake is perfect for summer and honestly will be the one I share with first timers to spoil them.
My favorite by far. Crisp with a sweet almost floral hint. Can’t be beat!
