Fukushima prefecture
The name “Densho” comes from the legacy of Suehiro Brewing Company being taught the secrets of the yamahai method from Kinichiro Kagi who discovered this process around the turn of the century. This sake boasts a creamy texture with ample umami and superbly balanced acidity that makes it so easy to drink we can’t get enough. Extremely food friendly, and recommended warm, on a flat ceramic vessel if you have one.

Really Clean, nice very subtle fruit, great mouthfeel.
Dry, light body premium sake with a slightly sweet aftertaste. Well balanced neither floral or fruity with notes of rice. I enjoyed it cold
A bit more dry than I would prefer but still excellent
wonderful flavor, a hint of anise, a bit tangy, floral aroma. I prefer it at 65 deg or so. Too much alcohol smell when heated.
Very nice. Lots of flavor. Went very well with a meat/cheese platter. Served it slightly chilled.
A lovely balance for a yamahai! Where others night come out swinging, this reads balanced and gentle while also strong enough to stand up to a pork tenderloin and bulgogi sauce with roasted veggies. To my palate the nutmeg lives in the first taste, but it settles into a rice-y/earthy umami.
