The label depicts peony flowers over blue waves, done in a style reminiscent of Koimari porcelain. In Japan, the peony is rich with meaning, symbolizing good fortune, romance, prosperity, honor and more. This sake had the honor of being selected as a First Class sake for Japan Airlines, winning gold at the U.S. National Sake Appraisal, and taking the grand prize at the Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Appraisal.
