Ibaraki prefecture
The founder of the brewery that produces Aiyu Dry wanted to bring people together with the spirit of sake. Aiyu Dry does just that with its fresh, juicy flavor and smooth finish your friends are bound to enjoy. Enjoy the strong umami, that comes from locally sourced rice in Itako, Ibaraki, by paring this sake with savory dishes. And don’t forget to honor the founder’s wishes, and share this sake with old and new friends.

“Aiyu” literally means “love and friendship.” The company was founded in 1804 at the end of Edo period and built around the founder's passion to make sake that helps cultivate friendships. The city of Itako used to be a gateway port between the Northeastern Japan and Edo. There is abundant water and nature. At the full bloom of Iris flowers in June, it is the busiest with tourist all over Japan.
