Light and silky as a flower petal

“Betsuatsurae” means bespoke or special edition. “Ususakura” refers to the lightest color of cherry blossom petals. Put them together and you have an elegant spring nigori from Shindo Brewing Company. This limited-release sake is made with Dewasansan rice, the pride of Yamagata prefecture, noted for producing sake that is smooth and soft. Drink this light, clean-tasting brew chilled as you watch spring flowers bloom around you.

Opposites attract, so why not try a spicy snack with nigori (cloudy) sake? For sake ware, we recommend vessels that showcase the cloudiness of nigori.
