Yamaguchi prefecture
We’ve been obsessed with Gokyo’s juicy “nama” (unpasteurized) series ever since we started carrying them — and this one doesn’t disappoint. It uses two different kinds of rice and two different kinds of yeast to give you that signature juiciness, this time with muscat grape notes. This nama “genshu” (undiluted) sake has solid structure and pairs well with white fish tempura and potato salad. It is recommended chilled.
